How to take Combined Contraceptive Pill
- One tablet daily
- At roughly the same time each day. Most packs are 21 days of tablets followed by a break, or a continuous run depending on the brand.
- If you miss one
- What to do depends on where you are in the pack. The leaflet covers it, and you can message the pharmacy team at any time.
- Repeat before you run out
- Order about a week ahead so there is no gap between packs.

It is not suitable if you have had a blood clot, stroke or heart attack, if you get migraines with aura, or if you smoke and are over 35. The assessment asks about all of these, and if it is not appropriate we suggest the progestogen-only pill instead.
Will it affect my fertility?
No. Fertility returns once you stop, usually within a cycle or two.

How is my order delivered?
